"Bike Week 08"
Bike Week 2008 - One of the coolest places to be all Week was the Limpnickie Lot, located at the Stone Edge Skate Park across the street from Millers Customs. The Linmnickie Lot was a collection of the best old skool builders around, with Blings’ Cycles, Kieno Cycles, French Kiss Kustoms, Nash Motorcycles, Led Sled, Bare Knuckle Choppers, Detroit Brothers, Sucker Punch Sally’s, Street Smart Cycles and more. If your into old school than this was the place to be. Accept of course on Thursday for Willie’s Tropical Tattoo Old School Bike Show crowd was hands down the biggest Willie’s ever had. There were more killer bikes, than ever before. There were so many people it was almost impossible to get any good photos of any of the bikes. I knew I should have gotten there earlier.

On Mains St, the scene was a bit different, there wasn’t the multitude of custom builders as in recent years. The Hard Rock Road House Tour was again the highlight on Main St. at the new Dog House, with custom bikes, photos from Michael Lichter, live music and best of all hot babes dancing on the bars! Also on Main St., at Pub 44 Riverside was My good friends from Wide Open Cycles, along with Automatic Slims a traveling bar complete with hot bar maids and pole dancers!

Good news Pain from Darkside Performance who was seriously injured when he was run down last summer is back on his feet and back to doing what he does best raising hell and doing Burnouts! The end of an era? Due to personal issues the HogFarm may have thrown its last Bike Week Party & Ride
Rick’s party was a blast! Literally they must have shot off the canon 10 to 12 times! Believe it or not the cops never showed up to shut down the party, but as it got to be late in the evening and the canon was still blasting, some of the folks that had an aversion to those in uniform, decided to play it safe and get the hell out of Dodge before the Police showed up! Rumor has it the Hog Farm my continue next year at another location!

Kings of Hell Rocked Renegade Studios

The Kings of Hell rocked the house at our Grand Opening Party for Renegade Studios! It rained all day on Friday, it wasn’t looking good for the party, and I was worried no one would show up, I had to make a decision to cancel the band or bite the bullet and let the party go on as planned. So I said F@#k it! Let’s Party! Because of the rain the band had to set up inside the studio, there went my plans for photos shoots during the party. I was sweating it, until some of my friends and supporters starting showing up, and the booze started to flow. Once I got a little buzz on, everything was good! Once the band had set up there were probably eighty to a hundred people who had braved the rain to come out and support Renegade Biker & party co-host Wide Open Cycles. As the Kings of Hell started their set everyone was gathered around inside and out of the studio, ready to party! Unfortunately as luck would have it started pouring down rain again, so those who couldn't fit inside the studio or just outside under the 10x10 tent we had setup, moved over to Wide Open Cycles shop and continued to party over there with free food and beer provided by Wide Open. For those who stayed in the studio got an up close and personal kick ass rock-n-roll show. The Kings of Hell rocked the house! Beer & Booze flowed freely, and everyone had a great time!

I want to thank the guys from Wide Open Cycles for allowing Renegade Biker to share in their annual Bike Week party, all those who came out to show their support despite the pouring rain, Chuck Putman for hooking me up with Fish and the Kings Of Hell, and for restocking the beer! Thanks! I also want to thank the guys from MurderCycles who were some of the first to arrive and the last to leave and restocked the bar with Jack & Captain! Thanks Guys! And special thanks to the Kings of Hell for making the party a blast!

Thanks!!

Dave's not dead Party

You are cordially invited to my brother Dave's not dead Party, If you didn't know, Dave recently had neck surgery, which went really bad. He had a main Artery burst and blood filled his neck and lungs, in which he could not breath, so they tried to get air passages and broke 4 of his teeth and paralyzed his voice box. Then finally, they did a tracheotomy and he was in comma for a couple of days. Well what ever they did they saved his life and he is doing better, and we are going to have a couple drinks with him this Friday the 28th. I hope you all come out and support him. My family and I would like to thank everyone for there support and prayers.

Thank You very much,
Sam Torres and Family

2008 WildCat: A Crowd Pleaser
Sabertooth® Motorcycles Received High Acclaim at NMRA Event

Posted: 3/24/08

Boston, MA (March 2008) – Dr. Ben Daniels, President and Developer of Sabertooth Motorcycles, was pleased to have been invited by Ford Racing to the National Mustang Racing Association’s 7th Annual Nitto Tire Spring Ford Nationals in Bradenton, FL on March 6-9, at Bradenton Motorsports Park.

The 2008 Sabertooth WildCat was enthusiastically welcomed at this Mustang racing event because of the powerful Ford Racing 302 engine that is the heart of the bike. The bike, which was displayed at the Ford Racing Booth, drew lots of attention and created quite a buzz!

“We were honored to be part of this Ford sponsored event,” said Ben Daniels. “While the main attraction of the weekend was certainly on the track, the crowd couldn’t help but stop to check out this racecar on two-wheels!”

About Sabertooth Motorcycles

Sabertooth Motorcycles, created in 2005 by Dr. Ben Daniels, offers an alternative to huge V-8 powered bikes, v-twin bikes and other high-performance motorcycles.

Sabertooth Motorcycles operates a 25,000 square foot factory in Greer, South Carolina with in-house frame building, sheet metal fabrication, paint operations and assembly. The company’s proprietary frame and swingarm design has undergone extensive finite element analysis (FEA) testing to ensure structural integrity of the components under stress.

Sabertooth Motorcycles uses a Ford Racing 302 ci engine in its bikes, selected not only for its smoothness, reliability and awesome power (dyno rated at 350 hp) but also for the styling advantages provided by a narrower profile than other V8 engines.

Outsourced components from such high-end brands as Performance Machine (wheels, rotors, and brakes), Mean Street (front end), Griffin Thermal Products (radiator), Gates Corporation (belt), and Joker Machine (hand and foot controls), and Dakota Digital (instrumentation) have all been developed to Sabertooth specifications in many cases.

Sabertooth Motorcycles is listed in the NADA Guide, Kelley Blue Book, and Black Book and is already insurable through Progressive, Geico and Nationwide. Financing is available through HSBC. The bikes come with a one-year, unlimited mileage warranty on parts and labor with standard restrictions. Base MSRP begins at $34,995.

NORTHBROOK, Ill., March 24, 2008 – The Tail of the Dragon has 318 twists and turns in just 11 miles, making it one of the most famous and challenging motorcycle rides in the United States. Straddling the North Carolina/Tennessee state line for more than 30 miles, this route takes riders into the crisp mountain air of the Great Smoky Mountains and onto AllstateGarage.com.

The Tail of the Dragon is just one of the Great American Rides highlighted on Allstate’s largest ever online marketing effort aimed at motorcycle riders.

AllstateGarage.com, which launched today, offers riders the chance to view and map scenic routes, share on-the-road experiences and post favorite rides. Visitors can also watch 30-second cycle know-how vignettes featuring professional mechanics from Indian Larry Legacy, a custom motorcycle shop paying homage to the legendary builder, Indian Larry, and his renowned East Coast chopper-style bikes.

“AllstateGarage.com is designed to make sure riders know that we don’t just help protect bikes – we help protect riders too,” said Lisa Cochrane, vice president of marketing communications for Allstate.

Created by Leo Burnett, Chicago, AllstateGarage.com also houses safety tips from the pros and offers visitors the ability to create their own virtual motorcycle from scratch, which can then be shared with family and friends. The site stores all virtual bikes in the AllstateGarage.com “showroom” and each bike can be downloaded as wallpaper to a user’s desktop.

The new biker-focused Web site features specific elements; including:
• “Plan a Ride,” which uses the most up-to-date satellite imaging and mapping software from Google. This feature allows riders to create their own routes, chose from a list of scenic rides or check out what fellow riders have posted as their favorites
• “Build a Bike,” a 12-step process that allows enthusiasts to pick from various parts, accessories and paint colors to create their own bike
• “Calendar,” featuring upcoming national and local events
• “Garage TV,” a tool that incorporates professional mechanics giving tutorials on many different safety concerns for motorcycles
• “Get a Quote” and “Find an Agent” features, which enable site visitors to enter information online for a quote or locate a nearby Allstate agent
• “Motorcycle Coverage,” which provides the ability to research various coverage options and features
• “Safety Tips,” which provides checklists and safety reminders
